First, pick or design a workout for your personality and your target areas. Some choose Zumba. For me everything is a target area but when it comes to my personality, I choose Taebo, Celebrity Fit Sculpt. I always thought of myself as a Celebrity or a media personality. Maybe that's why I have so much opposition.
Before you start any workout, remember to consult your physician.
Fall is here and what better way to eat, than to devour seasonal favorites like pumpkin and squash.
As a creole woman, I find everything taste better with freshly chopped seasonings. And in the South, we like to use what is commonly referred to as the "Holy Trinity." It's just onions, bell peppers and celery. Here's my personal recipe to kick off the season. It's a great Sunday meal with some hot rice and your choice of meat or lack thereof.
Here are your ingredients:
Olive oil
Zatarain's liquid onion and garlic seafood boil
1 medium onion
turkey sausage or shrimp
1 medium bell pepper
3 yellow or white squash
rosemary
oregano
black pepper
savory
basil
Tony Cachere's seasoning
First, heat oil or butter
Second add one medium onion diced and a quarter of a chopped
bell pepper
Then, Peel squash and Chop squash into small cubes or
slices. Add to pot.
Do not add water, it will make its own.
Add spices, rosemary, Tony Cacheres, a few dashes of black
pepper, dash of black pepper, dash of oregano, dash of savory, dash of basil.
Let pot cook for a little while.
For a creole taste, i used a capful of Zatarain's liquid
onion and garlic seafood boil. Stir.
While this is cooking, in a separate pan add oil, and
sausage of your choosing. (i chose turkey sausage) .
After the squash has cooked for some time and its seems
tender add sausage to squash pot. Then, add the shrimp to the same pot as
sausage let the shrimp cook in seasoned oil. When squash has been cooking for a
while and tender enough to eat then dump shrimp to the pot let cook for about
15 minutes. Cook some rice and laisse les bon temps roule!
